INTERIOR RAILINGS

Glass for railings is not used exclusively outside the home. The use of glass for railings on different levels as well as extensive use of glass on exterior walls opens a home up to the beauty of nature, lets in as much light as possible during the darker winter months, and gives a very modern feel.

Glass Stair Rail : The glass on this staircase acts as a safety 'net'. A close up shows the way the glass is attached to the stair treads and you can see the fittings through the glass that will receive the hand rail upon completion. We'll be sure to post an updated image once the project is completed.

Glass Wall Railing : The glass wall in our next image uses ETRE casted glass. No need for conventional railings.

Glass Panel and Stair Wall : The glass panel behind this fireplace uses ‘stand off hardware. The combination of glass panel and glass stair railing opens up this staircase and shows off the beefy log and hardware look. Notice how the glass has been cut around the stair riser.

We have a gallery of more current glass interior railings at the bottom of this page.
