THE MIRROR

What better way of augmenting the dramatic styling of a room than to echo it in a mirror. Much of Whistler Glass’s work involves the design and installation of mirrors, virtually in every room of the house or commercial building. An excellent way to give a feeling of spaciousness in smaller areas, or to replicate a special feature.

What easier way to enlarge a room? In our gallery’s first image, the reflection of chandelier and fireplace repeated in the mirror wall creates a truly palatial effect!

The bathroom in the second image is an excellent example of how a large mirror can effectively double the seeming size of the room. Framed in wood, the mirror gives depth and richness of style.

The framed mirror in our third image features an arch-top centre piece. It is featured in a beautiful house on the famous Nicklaus North Golf Course.

Mirrored closet doors make so much sense it's a wonder why they are not found in every bedroom adding dimension and offering a head to foot image of anyone in view.

A mirrored door can also function as a heavy, smoothly gliding bypass door. The one shown here is a pocket door in the Four Seasons Hotel.

A mirrored ‘niche’ is a beautiful place to display a piece of art or provides a convenient area to check the hair and make-up as seen in this one installed for the Four Seasons Hotel.
